The Sun Visor can help to reduce glare from the sun and easily attaches to the HX-1 Navigator using two rubber coated springs.

Assembly and Attachment

• Ensure that the blanking plugs are positioned to expose the second slot in from the end of the sun visor on both sides. Pull the rubber back on one mount wire and push the wire into the slot on the sun visor. Repeat for the remaining wire.

• Place the sun visor on the front of the HX-1 and gently push the mounting wire over the back of the device. Slide the sun visor down over the HX-1.

Mounting Brackets

In addition to the use of quality fuse kit, REDARC offer a range of vehicle-specific mounting brackets for our BCDC DC-DC Charger range. The 304 stainless steel bracket allows installation into the front of the vehicle for cooler airflow, ensuring optimal performance. They have been designed to fit existing mounting points in the vehicle.

The REDARC Smart Start® SBI2 is a microprocessor-controlled battery isolator used in dual battery systems as a solenoid priority system. It will protect the start battery from excessive discharge, whilst allowing the auxiliary battery to supply non-essential loads. The SBI2 provides 12 volt DC incorporating 100A of continuous ratings.

Power Saving Technology

The battery isolator is primarily used in 4WD and commercial vehicles and incorporates electronic components that will prevent the solenoid from generating high voltage transients. It is better than a diode battery isolator due to the voltage drop associated with diode type isolation. It features a low standby current draw and sophisticated fault detection and LED indication of operation to warn the user of faults including over-voltage, voltage drop and excessive current draw conditions.

The Smart Start SBI12 battery isolator is a safe way to charge a dual battery system and should often be installed with a high quality fuse kit.
