Staun Tyre Deflators are the easy way to deflate your tyres for increased traction. You simply screw the deflators onto any standard stem to automatically deflate each tyre to your preset pressure.

The deflator automatically shuts off at a preset pressure that can be adjusted to suit your specific needs. Each tyre deflator has an adjustment range suitable for their specific use and require minimal difference in pressure to start off. The deflators come in three range sizes: Standard 6 - 30psi, Heavy Duty 15 - 55psi and Light Duty 0 - 10psi.

Staun Tyre Deflators are extremely reliable and easily adjustable. Tyre Deflators are designed to automatically start once attached to the tyre valve stem. When the tyre pressure is within 8psi for Standard and Heavy Duty deflators or 2psi for Light Duty deflators a simple manual start may be required by lifting the centre pin.

Independent tests for repeatability found a maximum variation of less than 1/4psi. The deflators also performed successfully when tested in extreme temperatures of 0 degrees to 150 degrees F.

Staun Tyre Deflators are the fastest and most efficient automatic deflators available, with the average deflation from 3

 to 18 psi taking 1 minute and 50 seconds (on a 10R15 tyre) using a Standard range tyre deflator. Such a short deflation period removes the need to drive with the deflators fitted.
